The Chicago Tribune recently wrote up an interesting article about the reported food shrinkage reported around the country.  Glad to see a major newspaper is interested in the phenomena.  Click to read more at the source

The worse part about all this, is they think we don’t know. I mean come on do they really think consumers are that stupid?

Any who, have you notice the different in ccases of pop now. It went from a 24 pack down to an 18 pack. A 12 pack down to an 8. But prices stayed the same. I just paid 5 bucks of an 18 pack of dr.pepper which happen to be on sale. Is that crazy or what? They are jipping 4 to 6 cans depending on which pack you buy.

Exactly!!!!!! I stock up when there are sales and it was pretty apparent When I got cans of tuna. The sizes were down from 6 oz to 5. The more I started looking around, the more I saw shrinkage! Thanks for you comment ;)
