Yoplait Yogurt shrinkage!

not even your yogurt is safe from grocery shrinkage! Yup, Yoplait Yogurt LOOKS like the old container but as these pictures show, the bottoms are very different! I guess that little ‘package enhacement’ leaves yogurt 2 ounces lighter! Yikes!

Not even your grocery store brands are safe from grocery shrinkage!

I would agree that the yoplait yogurt was changing size, if only they were the same type of yogurt. The item on the left is the original product and the item on the right is the “whipped” version.

THis is soo true. I purchased the store brand yougurt and noticed that they were all 6oz when they used to be 8oz and they are still the same price!! I was shocked. THis website is pretty useful and I will be checking in frequently!

Is there anything that can truly be done about downsizing? Publicity doesn’t seem to deter the greedy instincts of our food producers, and individual boycotts just deny you your favorite foods.

Probably not. For me it was a confirmation that items were shrinking and the manufacturer was doing it on the sly. Putting proof out there confirms that it is going and it’s not your imagination.
thanks for the comment
