Kleenex Tissue Downsized!
Kleenex has downsized their individual tissues sizes

It use to be 8.4 by 8.4 now it’s 8.2 by 8.4 inches
Same thing on the 184 tssues:

Of course Kleenex’ talking heads have this to say:
In recent months, we have been faced with escalating prices for pulp and rapidly changing energy costs. Similar to other manufacturers, we cannot absorb these increased costs indefinitely without making an adjustment. While one of our competitors recently increased their price by six percent, we chose to maintain our existing price but decreased the number of sheets in some cartons. This direction allows us to offer lower promotional prices.
Also, we recently adjusted the sheet to a size equal to other tissues currently on the market, standardizing the sheet size in the facial tissue category. –Kimberly-Clark Customer Service
Girl Scout Cookies Gets Shrunk
It sounds like the Girl Scout Cookies are going to be smaller boxes this year *pouty face*. The official spokesperson says that the cost of the basic ingredients went up 30% this past year. That is the reason for the smaller boxes. *even bigger pouty face*
Dawn loses an ounce!

Dawn shrinks an ounce, yet still looks the same with this new packaging. Interesting isn’t it? Grocery Shrinkage is still around.
Big Roll TP gets shrunk!

Grocery Shrinkage hits again, this time hitting the “BIG Roll” Tp you find at the drug stores like Walgreen’s. Oh sure, they don’t reduce the number of uses, just the max weight. Wait, does that mean that we have less paper per square? oh that’s not good. Most people that use that scratchy stuff usually need several squares to properly complete the job. Oh, and the sale use to be 3 for a buck, now it’s 2 for a buck. from .33 a roll to .50! Yikes
History of Maxwell House
It started at 16 ounces, now it’s 11 ounces and the coffee grounds are “fluffy” LOL ok? This video shows how a variety of food products have shrunk over the years, while the price remains the same, and the tricks manufacturers use so we don’t notice the differences.
